Aloha, Maui!
Jim and Ashley took us on a tropical adventure during their gorgeous wedding week in Maui, Hawaii. The beginning of our expedition found us trekking through the Road to Hana. Stocked up with snacks, beers and sunscreen, we hopped into a convertible Mustang and soaked in the sights on our way to photograph their engagement session at the Twin Falls. No amount of mosquitoes and cold mountain water could stop us from getting the perfect pictures, and Ashley and Jim did a wonderful job at being our models for the day!
The day of the wedding was picture perfect. The bridal party was donned in their pineapple “Aloha Beaches” tank tops. Getting Ashley ready was a group effort, all the girls helped her into her Morilee Bridal gown. While in a nearby room the groomsmen relaxed with beers and BigAl’ the Giant Inflatable Alligator. The bride and groom had a super adorable first look which was followed by a sunset ceremony on the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa lawn in Kaanapali. The pineapple theme was fun and bright, the reception was a blast, and I won’t ever forget those hilarious and touching speeches.
“Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind- or forgotten.”
Mahalo to the newly weds and their family and friends. We honestly felt like we were indeed part of your family. It was so lovely to meet all of Ashley and Jim’s loved ones!
